History

Parsells Agency has been a family owned and operated business since 1956, when it was established by Arthur Parsells. Arthur started this company during a time when insurance was purchased and secured on a “handshake” and, although the passage of time and industry laws has changed this practice, we still strive to honor the sentiment behind this time‐honored gesture. Sadly, Arthur is no longer be with us, but his legacy remains.

Now, under the direction of his son, Glenn Parsells, Sr., who took the reigns along with wife, Nadine in 1995 and has been actively involved in the insurance industry for over 30 years, the courteous and professional staff at Parsells remains poised to serve your insurance needs, both personal and professional. We are dedicated to serving the insurance and risk management needs in our hometowns of Closter and Alpine and throughout Bergen County and the greater New York‐New Jersey area.

As a premiere NJ insurance agency and risk management experts, Parsells Agency is actively involved in the local chamber of commerce and is also a member of the Professional Insurance Agents Association of New Jersey and the Independent Insurance Agents of Bergen and Hudson Counties.
